Our business at Aizada Imports is marketing hand felted crafts from the country of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.  We work directly with artisans in Kyrgyzstan who make woolen felt crafts using both traditional and modern techniques.  Women in the more remote villages make shyrdaks for us.  These are the tradtional quilted rugs used to line the insides of their tents.  At the same time, we work with young designers in the capitol city of Bishkek who are creating brilliant new fashion products from felt.  Felt making is providing jobs in Kyrgyzstan for many women who might otherwise find it difficult to find employment.  We like to think we are making a difference in the lives of women there.   There is no middle man. We travel to Kyrgyzstan, develop personal relationships with our artisans and buy directly from them.

Our Gallery is in The Big Yellow House in Absarokee, Montana, USA.  From here we market our products around the United States and the UK.  We take our crafts to shows, festivals and exhibitions.  We specialize in trunk shows as fund  raisers for businesses and non-profits.  We are in the process of creating an on-line store.  In the meantime, please look at our products section.  We can do sales by email or telephone.
